ROOFTOP DRAKO - National Greyhound Association Registered (NGA)
Although Drako is unraced, we are truly blessed to be his family! He came to our home by pure luck! I first seen him at a UKC show and struck up a conversation with his the owner, at the time.
Unfortunately, Drako's breeder perished in a vehicle accident in 2020, on their way to the National Greyhound Track in Abilene, Kansas for the hosted NGA Fall Meet. Drako was in the company of nineteen other crated greyhounds. James Potter, his wife, and three greyhounds didn't make it to their destination that morning. Seven of those greyhounds had gotten out of their travel crates and had to be retrieved, Drako was one of the seven.
Drako is truly the epiphany of a gentle giant! Our grandson has no issues handling this big (95lb) guy in the UKC show ring or releasing him at the start line in armature lure coursing events.
Drako shares ancestors with many of the top racing dogs of today's time. He truly has an explosive pedigree, top and bottom; KC and All, Flying Penske, Dodgem By Design, Gable Doge, Molotov, HS's Commander, to name only a few.
His health testing records can be found in the OFA (Orthoepic Foundation for Animals) data base or on our Good Dog Profile.
